I am working with a well established SME contractor in the South East that delivers building refurbishment projects through both rail and council frameworks. The company has a strong reputation for repeat business, safe delivery and long term client relationships, and is now expanding its building division.
The role is focused on framework projects typically valued up to £350k per scheme, covering the refurbishment and improvement of operational properties such as stations, depots and council buildings. You will be involved from the earliest stage, reviewing framework opportunities, preparing tender submissions, developing works programmes and producing method statements and risk assessments, before leading delivery on site through to handover.
You will work with in house engineering, construction and commercial teams, as well as appointing and managing specialist subcontractors where required, ensuring each project is resourced and delivered effectively.
This position offers clear progression. As the pipeline of framework activity builds into multi million pound workstreams, there will be opportunities to step up into Contracts Management and, in time, Business Management.
