"UK's TfL and Twitter launch pilot passenger alert service"

Railway-technology.com have today written how "Transport for London (TfL) has launched a pilot passenger alert service, under a partnership with online social networking service Twitter."

This is a great step forward for improving the communication between passengers and Tfl.
