HMO Licensing Technical Officer
I am currently recruiting for a Housing Licensing Technical Officer to work with a Council in the South of England.
The post holder will be responsible for inspecting the licenced properties to ensure that any licence conditions are being complied with and undertaking the full HHSRS inspection as required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To be able to complete a specified number of pro-active inspections per week and provide written reports to the licence holder indicating works required or advice following the inspection.
2. To be able to work with the tenants and licence holder in setting reasonable timescales for the works to be completed.
3. Be able to undertake a full assessment using the Housing, Health and Safety Rating system.
Applicants MUST have experience in a similar role, ideally within a Local Authority or other Public-Sector organisation.
