I have a interim role for a Transformation Project Manager to join the next stage of an ambitious project to transform the entire organisation into a customer-focused, digitally-enabled and commercially-minded council by 2020.
We are looking for a Project Manager that is experienced in the management of transformation programmes, to work with the Community Services team to build and implement the changes.
You must have an understanding of detailed design documents, full business case and implementation plan.
You must have an understanding of contract management in a local authority environment. Liaising with the Council’s existing contractors.
You will also be ensuring that the project planning and management allows the release of financial benefit as and when outlined in the full business case.

Also project managing the build and implementation of the detailed design in the Community Services area, including liaising with the Project Sponsor, managing Project Board meetings, agendas and minutes, monitoring risks and issues and updating the relevant logs, fortnightly highlight reporting and project planning.


We are looking for candidates that are qualified to PRINCE 2 Practitioner level and have extensive ‘hands-on’ experience of project management in a local authority environment.  You will also have transformation and change management experience.
