IT Project Manager (Housing Service Transition Project)
I am currently recruiting for an IT Project Manager to work with a London Local Authority on a Housing Transition project. This is a contract opportunity.
The Council are in the process of moving their Housing Management service back in-house for direct management by the Council. The Project Manager will be required to support and drive the transition of staff from the previous operator to the Council, as well as users, applications and related IT infrastructure.
The post holder will provide oversight and coordination of all IT workstreams, working across both the Council site and that of the previous provider to manage the transition. They will be responsible for producing and maintaining all project documentation, reporting, issue resolution/escalation, engagement with IT management and clear communication with stakeholders and change management.
My client is looking for applicants with excellent Project Management experience, including the implementation and transition of IT systems, as well as knowledge of reorganisations/staff transfers. Change management experience is essential for this post.
Ideally, applicants should have Local Authority or other Public Sector experience.
