We are currently dealing with a major Engineering Consultancy who are looking to recruit for a Civil Infrastructure Engineer on a contract basis in London. As the Civil Infrastructure/Development Engineer you will contribute to the design and preparation of deliverables associated with key infrastructure projects, focused on drainage design, utilities, pavement design, local roads amongst other civil engineering works.

You will be expected to contribute to engineering designs and prepare technical drawings, contribute to and draft reports and specifications on projects you’ll be involved in.

As mentioned, this is a contract position (initially 12 months) being based in London. Currently everyone is working from home, but once the offices are open again a flexible working approach will be adopted with a split week between home and office. This role could suit an experienced (minimum 3 years) Engineer, Assistant or Graduate Civil Infrastructure Engineer who are looking for a new role.



Job Requirements

• Demonstrate a sound technical base with experience in all or most of the following:
• A good working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D, OpenRoads, PDS, MicroDrainage or similar 3D modelling software.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience

• Highway and public realm design. Knowledge of home zones and creating pedestrian friendly environments.
• Pavement design, both asphalt-based solutions as well as concrete and natural stone paver solutions for both pedestrian and vehicular trafficked areas.
• Drainage design / modelling and flood risk assessment
• Utilities supplies and network coordination. Liaison with statutory undertakers and an understanding of their requirements.
