Engagement and Interface Manager (Midlands/North)Ref:
A large public sector organisation based in Birmingham is currently looking for an Engagement and Interface Manager. This role is responsible for supporting the Senior Engagement & Interface Manager in the delivery of the Community Engagement Strategy and stakeholder relationship management.
The role will involve:
- To be responsible for supporting the delivery of community of stakeholder engagement
- Responsible for working with multiple contractors to deliver collective engagement activity aimed at key political stakeholders and community representatives.
- To be accountable for identifying and escalating any stakeholder engagement, interface issues, risks and working with the Senior Engagement and Interface Manager to resolve them.
- To be responsible for identifying and delivering engagement activities and opportunities. This includes traditional and digital communications activities, such as events, meetings, newsletters and web content, designed to keep communities and stakeholders informed while also involved in the project.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a complex political environment before and therefore someone from a local or central government background would have the relevant experience for the role. Please apply for immediate consideration.
