I am currently recruiting for a Plan Making Officer to work with a Local London Authority on a contract basis.

The client is looking for someone to primarily support the development of the Council's Local Plan Review, including consultation and with responsibility for specific topic areas. The plan making officer will support the development management function through providing planning policy advice to the determination of planning applications and pre application service.

You will need:

• Relevant RTPI approved qualifications, skills, knowledge and competence in spatial planning to qualify for RTPI membership.
• an understanding of current issues & developments affecting planning, regeneration & local government in London
• understanding of spatial planning legislation
