Top 50 Employers for Women 2016









Two of our major clients Arup and Carillion have been recognised in The Times supplement "Top 50 Employers for Women 2016".

Carillion state in their press release that they are;
  • "extending UK maternity policy to 12 weeks full and 6 weeks half pay for all women;
  • developing a flexible working policy to support a better work-life balance;
  • enhancing leadership development programmes to focus on the female talent pool;
  • piloting a 'Top 50 List' for a Women in Leadership programme;
  • upskilling line managers and introducing unconscious bias training."

They report that by doing so they have;

"resulted in a 4% increase in women in leadership roles, a 6% increase in women in operational roles, and a 20% increase in maternity returns".

Impressively for Arup it is the sixth consecutive year on being placed in the top 50.
