Electric Fleet Project Manager
A London local authority is recruitng for a Project Manager to support on the delivery of key projects in Public Realm. The primary focus for the role will be in assisting in the delivery of large scale infrastructure project to allow Islington council to transitions from a conventionally-fuelled fleet to a fully electric fleet. The successful applicant will also be required to lead on coordination between various other related energy & physical infrastructure projects to ensure there is effective join-up between related projects being delivered across the department.
The right candidate will have experience in leading projects and ideally a qualification in a recognised project management approach. They will work as part of the department’s performance team supporting the work of the team as required. They will need to be confident and proactive as the role will require them to work with a number of teams in the department engaging with a range of senior managers. Candidates will need to be passionate about delivering environmental improvements in a local government setting with a background in any of following; electric vehicles, vehicle charging solutions, infrastructure development, energy management, renewable energy climate change, sustainability.
