We are currently dealing with a major Engineering consultancy in Kent, specifically Ashford, who are looking to recruit a MicroStation Technician working on a range of Rail project, specifically Civils, Structures, and Bridges. As the MicroStation Technician you will lead CAD Technicians and Apprentices in the efficient and effective delivery of Rail Civils and Structures projects, working with Engineers to ensure the needs of the Client and the business are met.
Within the position you will undertake the Preparation of drawings and models in accordance with the company’s BIM manual working with both MicroStation 2D and 3D. Your will work on a range of Rail Civil, Structures and Bridges, schemes which can include high profile and technically challenging schemes. As the MicroStation Technician you will undertake the preparation of documentation including but not limited to drawings, models, estimates, schedules, quantities all as directed by a Project Engineer to a standard of presentation which can be submitted to clients or other approval authority.
As mentioned, this role is based in Ashford, Kent. At the moment everyone is working from home, however when the office is open again they will be implementing a split week between working from home and the office, so could suit candidates who are slightly further a field who are willing to travel for 2 days a week.
