We are looking for a Housing Enforcement and Licensing Officer to ensure that a local authorities Private Sector Housing Services meets standards set by the council and other legislation.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring HMOs adhere to legislation
- Ensuring relevant licensing is adhered to, with regards to HMOs
- Issuing improvement notices and monitoring the progress of the improvements
Candidate requirements:
- Have an understanding and experience of using relevant legislation
- Experience of working within a similar role previously
- An understanding of the Private Rented Sector and HMO’s
