ICT Senior Project Manager

ICT Senior Project Manager – South London / Hybrid – £530 per day (Umbrella)

A South London Local Authority is seeking an experienced ICT Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of key technology transformation projects. This role will focus on major initiatives including on-premise to cloud migration, network refresh, and rollout of Microsoft productivity tools.
You will play a pivotal role in driving business change through the successful implementation of robust ICT solutions across both public-facing and back-office services.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex ICT projects across a multi-project portfolio
• Manage budgets, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies
• Drive stakeholder engagement across internal teams and external partners
• Oversee supplier and service provider performance
• Support wider Transformation Programme and technical delivery of change initiatives
• Ensure projects are delivered to quality, time, and budget targets
• Provide clear reporting within a formal governance framework

Essential Experience

• Proven experience delivering large-scale, transformational ICT projects
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Solid budget and resource management capability
• Experience managing interdependencies across multiple projects
• Skilled in risk, issue, and performance management
• Ability to influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
• Experience translating user requirements into effective technical solutions
• Working knowledge of project methodologies such as PRINCE2, MSP or similar
