We are recruiting a Senior Landscape Design Manager to join the delivery team for one of Europe’s largest infrastructure programmes. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in a once-in-a-lifetime project, offering exceptional career development and long-term growth opportunities.
This role will suit an experienced professional with a strong background in overseeing the delivery of landscape works and working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
The Role
- Act as the Lead Landscape Design SME, setting strategic objectives and assuring design quality across multiple contracts
- Provide specialist technical leadership, guidance, and verification to ensure compliant, value-for-money landscape design solutions
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, IPTs, CAMs, NEC Supervisors, Environment and Planning teams, and site staff to meet programme milestones
- Oversee the delivery and on-site verification of landscape works, including long-term maintenance, monitoring, and landscape mitigation outcomes
- Support handover and transition activities, including verification of green assets
Requirements
- Degree in Landscape Architecture (or equivalent) and Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute
- Proven leadership experience as a subject matter expert in landscape and public realm design
- Strong experience overseeing the delivery of landscape works on major projects
- Demonstrable experience working on large-scale, complex infrastructure programmes
- Strong understanding of design assurance, delivery stages, cost, schedule, and multidisciplinary dependencies
- Ability to influence, challenge, and verify landscape schemes from design through to delivery and handover
