A London local authority is recruiting an experienced Interim Building Safety Manager to oversee building safety compliance across its residential housing stock.
Key Responsibilities:
A London local authority is recruiting an experienced Interim Building Safety Manager to oversee building safety compliance across its residential housing stock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Building Assessment Certificate (BAC) applications for Higher Risk Buildings.
- Develop Safety Case Reports, risk assessments and Resident Engagement Strategies.
- Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and fire safety legislation.
- Conduct building inspections, identify risks and oversee remedial works.
- Liaise with the Building Safety Regulator and maintain the Golden Thread of building information.
- Provide specialist advice and promote a strong building safety culture.
- Strong knowledge of building and fire safety legislation.
- Experience managing residential buildings and construction projects.
- Ability to assess risks and review safety assessments.
