A London local authority is seeking an experienced, RICS-qualified Building Surveyor to support housing condition and disrepair cases.
Key Responsibilities:
A London local authority is seeking an experienced, RICS-qualified Building Surveyor to support housing condition and disrepair cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect residential and commercial properties, diagnosing defects and identifying remedial works.
- Prepare detailed Schedules of Disrepair and expert witness reports compliant with Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules.
- Provide technical advice to landlords, tenants and legal representatives on disrepair claims.
- Mandatory RICS qualification.
- Proven experience in building surveys, housing disrepair and preparing Schedules of Disrepair for legal cases.
- Experience producing Part 35-compliant expert witness reports.
- Strong knowledge of building pathology, housing legislation, landlord and tenant law, and building regulations.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
